Clear your calendar for the ultimate date night with a purpose!
On Saturday, September 26th from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, the U.S. Army Aviation Museum Foundation is hosting a brand-new, exciting event: a culinary journey through time.
We are pairing historic military eras with curated tapas and wine, giving you a completely unique way to “taste your way through army aviation history.” From World War-era French comfort food to Cold War-era Birria tacos and a stunning Middle Eastern dessert to wrap up the Global War on Terrorism era, your palate will be traveling through time.
On the Flight Menu:
Starter: Cuban Picadillo Empanadas with Mojo Sauce
The World Wars: Classic French Cassoulet & Baguette
Korea & Vietnam: Traditional Vietnamese Bun Thit Nuong
The Cold War: Mainstream 70s favorite Beef Birria Tacos
Dessert: Decadent Middle Eastern Shaabiyat with Bejeweled Dates
This evening isn’t just about incredible food and wine – it’s a fundraiser! All proceeds from ticket sales and our Night-Of Silent Auction go directly toward our campaign to develop a brand-new, interactive, hands-on STEM learning laboratory for local youth.
Early Bird pricing for a limited number of couples’ tickets opens on August 1st. Elite VIP Packages will also be available for those looking to upgrade their flight experience.
