The Army Aviation Museum Foundation, incorporated under the laws of the State of Alabama as a nonprofit organization, was formed on 9 March 1970.

The affairs of the Foundation are managed by its Board of Directors and the Officers of the Executive Committee.

The Museum Foundation solicits and accepts contributions designed to restore, recondition, or supplement artifacts currently in inventory and slated for exhibit.
